Developing control strategies for key problem weeds in North East and North West NSW

Weeds continue to be a major constraint of grains production in northern NSW. Increasing levels of herbicide resistance only make the problem more complex and difficult to manage.

GRDC, via the National Grower Network investment, have invested in a multi-year extension project to better understand weed management needs of growers and inform better management decisions. This project is being led by ICAN in consultation with grower and agronomy groups. It is expected that this project will deliver new resources for growers and agronomists, workshops, webinars and field days and demonstration trials.

As new activities and resources are developed they will be uploaded to this web page, so check back regularly to get the latest information. Click on the buttons below for further information.

Participants will leave with a better understanding of the key factors dictating herbicide performance and what can be done in the paddock to ensure weed control is maximised.
